When taking part in this offer, members of the United Airlines frequent flyer program, MileagePlus, will have the opportunity to collect thousands of miles when they switch their energy service provider to Energy Plus.

To be eligible for this promotional offer, you must be a United MileagePlus member who resides in an eligible Energy Plus service location. As of right now, the only eligible service locations include Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Ohio. Once you become an Energy Plus member, you will be able to start collecting additional miles.

After your second month of being an Energy Plus customer, you will qualify to earn 10,000 award miles. If you are a MileagePlus credit card member, you will qualify to earn an additional 2,500 miles. Every month that you remain an Energy Plus customer, you will continue earning additional award miles. 2 miles will be earned for every $1 you spend on the supply portion of your bill. As a MileagePlus credit card member, 3 miles will be earned per $1 instead.
