Jumpseller Helps the Small Guys

Create the online store you’ve always dreamed about.

That’s the motto at Jumpseller, a cloud e-commerce solution that is ideal for small businesses to be able to create their online store and sell anywhere in the world.

Tiago Matos is a co-founder at the company. He recently spoke with RewardExpert regarding his company’s journey throughout the past decade and what the future holds in what is a very popular industry.

It Started on Laptops

The company was founded in 2010 by Matos and Filipe Goncalves. The pair started as software engineers from Portugal who decided to start the venture without not much more than laptops and a future of e-commerce.

“While most solutions use venture funds to grow, Jumpseller has decided to bootstrap our business,” Matos said.

Part of bootstrapping their business involved Jumpseller offering others the most bang for their buck — or, as Matos put it, offering the best value for money when it comes to shopping carts.

The company offers a unique set of features, including a variety of integrated apps, free domain, multiple local payment methods, and it is integrated with multiple shipping carriers and multi-language support.

The company also presents an array of online store characteristics, such as:

  • Keeping track of all activity via a dashboard
  • Managing orders online
  • Managing clients and customers
  • Managing a product catalog
  • Acting as a content manager
  • Managing promotions and discount codes
  • Selling in multiple languages
  • A flexible, easy-to-use design

“All of this at a very affordable subscription fee and unlike the alternatives,” he said. “Jumpseller does not charge any transaction fees for each sale a store makes.”

Not Letting Money Ruin Dreams

When it comes to money, small businesses often know how to get the most from their budget. Otherwise, they probably won’t last long. Matos said a main objective of his company was to aid the small businesses and the individuals who create them in an effort to see them through and watch them thrive.

“I would say money comes in the way of a lot of people’s dreams,” he said. “That’s why we created Jumpseller, so small businesses and entrepreneurs can thrive.”

That includes offering perspective interested individuals an extendable free trial period, all while a support team will provide a road map for success.

“The important thing is to be persistent and never give up,” he said.

Jumpseller also has what they deem as a particularly successful affiliate program, in which affiliates can earn a three-month subscription fee if they recommend three new stores that subscribe to the Jumpseller brand with unique web addresses.

Making the brand bigger is the next step, Tagos added, by expanding the foundation from its roots in Latin America and Portgual to the furthest points around the globe, reaching people in India and western Europe.

“While we are continuously looking to improve our service and have more integrations with apps and payment gateways, we also keep adding to our catalog of themes and base features, to offer more options to our customers,” he noted.
