Jackson to Jennifer Garner has made appearances. But Capital One cards are much more than just celebrity endorsements. They are perfect for anyone looking to earn travel rewards or even cash back on their everyday spending. Venture Cards

2 cards

Venture rewards cards are perfect for the travel lover. Each mile that you earn can get you one step closer to checking another destination off your bucket list. Plus, the best thing about Venture rewards is that you are not limited in how you can use them. If you purchase something travel related, no matter if it’s a hotel room or a car rental, you can allocate the miles in your account to cover that expense. Would you prefer to use them for a gift card or cash back? Not a problem, you can do that as well.

Spark Miles Cards

2 cards

Spark rewards cards are very similar to Venture cards except they are designed for small business owners and independent contractors. Spark miles are great for travelers. An appealing choice for many is the Capital One Spark Miles for Business card, which comes with a very generous sign-up bonus. You will be awarded with 50,000 miles, which equates to $500 in travel after completing the initial spending requirements. But travel isn’t the only option for reward redemption with your Spark miles. You can also receive gift cards and cash back.

Dining Cards

2 cards

If you find yourself frequently eating out at restaurants for lunch or dinner, then why not have a credit card that rewards you for those expenses. The Capital One® SavorOne℠ Cash Rewards Credit Card offers bonus cash back at restaurants as well as at grocery stores. Plus, it comes with no annual fee, making it an inexpensive card to carry in your wallet as long as you pay your balance in full each month. At the same time Capital One® Savor® Cash Rewards Credit Card earns more at restaurants but comes with annual fee that is waived for the first year.

Cashback Cards

5 cards

Earning free or discounted travel is a popular use of rewards credit cards, but it isn’t for everyone. Instead, you might enjoy saving on each purchase that you make by using a cashback card. The Capital One Quicksilver Rewards card, for example, will allow you to earn a generous sign-up bonus, plus a flat cashback rate on each purchase that you make. This is the perfect card for someone that’s not interested in keeping track of a bunch of bonus reward categories.

Rewards credit cards have a lot of advantages for those that use them. No matter if you enjoy earning miles that can be used for travel, or you want to earn cash back on purchases, Capital One has a card for you. Several cards offer a big sign-up bonus, plus many cards will come with little or no annual fee each year.

Capital One Venture and Spark Rewards Program

Many people recognize Capital One Venture rewards program because of their high profile television commercials with Jennifer Garner. However, the Venture program is much more than just a celebrity endorsement opportunity. It’s a no-hassle rewards program that can help you earn free travel and much more. No matter if this is your first rewards card or you have been collecting miles for some time, the Capital One Venture program could be perfect for you.

While some programs let you focus on earning points or miles that can be used on individual airlines or hotels, Capital One Venture rewards are a little different. With the Venture program, you will have the chance to use the rewards you earn on any travel expense. It’s a hassle-free way of earning and redeeming rewards. Each Venture mile is worth one cent when redeemed for travel.

The Venture Rewards and Spark Miles for Business cards are great options from Capital One. Both cards offer two miles per dollar for every purchase. That means you’ll effectively be getting a value of two cents per mile.

However, travel isn’t the only thing you can redeem Capital One Venture miles for. You will also have the opportunity to use them toward gift cards, merchandise and for cash back. The only downside is that the value per point will be less for anything other than travel.

Capital One runs their Venture and Spark programs under different names; however, they work in exactly same way. The only difference is that the Capital One Spark program is for business cardholders.

How to Use Capital One Venture and Spark Rewards

With both Venture and Spark Miles cards, you can use your miles to book upcoming travel plans or to cover the cost of past travel expenses. To book future travel, you can use the Capital One travel portal powered by Orbitz. You just need to locate the flight, hotel or vacation package that you would like to book and then apply your miles.

Alternatively, you can use your miles to cover past travel expenses with the Purchase Eraser. If you booked any type of travel with your Capital One card, you can go back within 90 days and apply your miles towards that expense.

While not all cards come with the same benefits, most will include the following.
